Terms

These terms are between you and Storefront Index. Using the site means you accept them.

Prices are shown before you pay and are charged by Stripe; we never see your card number. Recurring plans renew until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next charge without refunding the current period unless a page says otherwise.

Sign-in is by a link sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

A grade places one business against the measured distribution for its industry and city size at a point in time. It is a measurement, not advice, and not a prediction of revenue, ranking or any other outcome.

Where an industry and city-size cell holds too few measured businesses to support a comparison, we withhold the comparison rather than estimate it. A withheld comparison is a correct answer, not a failure.

The Analyzer is $79 a month, billed by Stripe, renewing until you cancel. It includes unlimited grades and export under your own brand.

You may show a report to your own prospects and clients, including under your own brand. You may not resell access to the Index itself, or redistribute the underlying per-business records.

A Territory Report is $199 a city, commissioned and invoiced individually.

Scans can be wrong: a site can be down at the moment we measure it, and a business can be listed under the wrong industry. If a figure looks wrong, send it to hello@storefrontindex.com and we will re-scan and correct it.

Do not use the site for anything unlawful, to harm or harass anyone, to infringe someone else's rights, or to probe or overload the service. We may refuse service or close accounts that do.

We will run Storefront Index with reasonable care. Beyond that the service is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, Storefront Index is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may change the service and these terms. Material changes are announced on the site or by email before they take effect, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept them.
